The NordicTrack Commercial 1750 treadmill incorporates many technological features that may be new to users as they are very up-to-date. It can be confusing getting started, and sometimes, users will run into issues – this is why it helps to know some basic troubleshooting tests that can help easily solve problems.

Wireless Connection Failing?

For example, perhaps the module on the treadmill will not connect to the wireless network as it is supposed to. The best thing to do first is to perform a network test to ensure that connections are available. In addition, check the wireless settings on the console to ensure that they are set correctly. Also, ensure that your wireless network is functioning properly in order to send the machine a signal to which it can connect.

Touch Screen Buttons Not Working?

It could also come about that the buttons on the touch screen are not working well. This simply means that the screen needs to be re-calibrated to align the visual with the touch location. Re-calibrating the deck will solve this issue quickly and easily. Simply press the ‘calibrate incline’ button, followed by the ‘begin’ button. This will cause the deck to rise to its maximum level, then to its lowest incline, then return to its starting position, and the issue will be fixed.

iFit Issues?

As you are likely aware, the NordicTrack Commercial 1750 is compatible with iFit Live, which sometimes can pose some issues. This probably means that the firmware needs to be updated, as this should be done regularly. Press the ‘firmware update’ button and then the ‘begin’ button. The screen will display a progress bar, and then prompt you to cycle the power. This means simply pressing the power switch on the frame off, and then resetting it. It will then be ready to use.
